WOW.com yesterday published an Addon of the week called Alt-a-holic. As someone who’s got more than half a dozen toons 70 or better, I have to say it’s handy. Blizzard makes leveling alts uber fast now with the ability BoA items bonus, enchaned XP’s below 70 and even Epic Flyers above 70. Ultimately they feed the alt-a-holic subset of players by make it ever so easy to spend more time in game dedicated to doing other things (tips hat to Blizzard, I’m sure someone is tracking average playtime).

As Icecrown is released in Patch 3.3, a record amount of players for the first time have an opportunity to pursue the final boss in the expansion, all other bosses in 5 man’s and raids will no longer drop Emblems of Conquest and will drop Emblems of Triumph according to Bornak’s Blue Post in the WoW Forums.
As emblems are a form of in game currency, we thought this was noteworthy. The change is great way to afford more opportunities for people to get the gear they need to get into Icecrown and take their shot at the Lich King. Are you thinking of leveling Jewlcrafting? Tired of 150G to 500G in the Auction House to upgrade your gear with epic gems. Wanting to get a piece of that action but have heard stories about how expensive it can be to level? Although leveling between 240 to 300 is still pricey bottleneck, getting your JC up from 430 to 450 is going to become quite affordable in the near future.
After the break, we’ll talk about that last leg of leveling the Jewlcrafting profession. Right now it’s a pricey little journey if but you’ve got one cost effective option already and we’ll discuss how another option becomes quite economical with patch 3.3.
Although online reporting of AH data is available, there seems to be a new player entering the market. Eldadcorp has lauched a Online Auction House Site over www.wowoah.com. Although not the easiest site name to remember, it seems to be a noteworthy addition to the Auction Houes data space. It is worthy to note that the site is still in Alpha with releases coming frequently.
This space is currently occupied by some other sites including WoWecon, Allakhazam, and the independent development project by Norganna who is the author of Auctioneer, the AuctioneerDB site. After the break will tear down WOWOAH a little bit more for the readers.
Do you have the Darkmoon Fairie blues, with the potential for Darkmoon Decks to drop in price with the release of Patch 3.3. It would be nice if Blizzard offered the Inscription community a nice layover item for the time being. My suggestion would implementing Scroll of Teleportation
Inscribers would be able to make Scrolls that allow the player to teleport to various cities in the game. Sure no one will be Teleporting to Exodar anytime soon, but these would offer a descent amount of functionality, mages still own the market on portals and this would offer a sense of balance to the Inscription folks who are probably cringing at the Darkmoon issue.
